Lately, our short supply of cognitive dissonance has deactivated our critical thinking skills. We are living in a collective state of paralysis – a myopic, distorted, and corrupted, dystopia of distraction, and social posturing. Hard truth? The most predictable pattern I see in humans is denial. But, you can’t change what you don’t accept, and you can’t accept what you don’t see; there is a time to analyze and there is a time to recognize. And though these two processes may sound the same, I can assure you they are not. To recognize is to acknowledge “something” for what it is, it’s the precursor to truly accepting what’s so. To analyze something is to microscopically question that “something” to extremes – giving our processing-based, monkey minds “something to talk about.” The question then, is what is actually true for you?
